I purchased this DVD player as a cheapo for my kids. It works so well I have purchased 2 more for my home. Really good value for the money and simple to use!

This is the worst DVD player I have ever owned. I bought this player and a month later it was making horrible noises and then just wouldn't play DVD's. I purchased it because it was so cheap and I totally got what I payed for. This is not even a quick fix until you get the good one.

DO NOT BUY! I bought this Dvd plaver about one month and a half ago. I should have known from day one that it wouldn't last long. The motor is very loud. I watch alot of TV on Dvd and everytime I change episodes the motor would make this horrific noise. However, that is not the worst of it. Within the last week the player just started freezing. First it would slowly freeze like in slow motion, but in a couple days it started freezing which caused it to just shut off. Sometimes it froze in the middle of a movie and it would be stuck, couldn't fast forward, rewind or even just stop it and turn it off. It just sat frozen. This is the worst player ever. Seriously DO NOT BUY THIS PLAYER!!!!

I purchased this DVD player over 3 years ago and LOVE IT!! I must admit, I was skeptical when I bought this product (I had never purchased Memorex items before), but at the time, this was what I could afford. It has worked great though. -So great that my parents even requested the same one for Christmas two years ago. Both my parents and I would definitely recommend this item!!

This DVD player worked fine for me until today. I have only had it for about 6 months and I haven't had any problems with it. Unfortunately I unplugged it today and after I plugged it back in it has absolutely no power!!! What??? (yes, I tried different outlets). I can't understand why it stopped working completely - I didn't mistreat it or anything. So... if you have this DVD player and it works for you... don't EVER unplug it!!!

I bought this player over 6 mos. ago but only used it 5-6 times and it died. Brought it back to Target
(without a receipt) and they would not exchange it refering me to the Manufacturer. If i had bought it from the manufacturer i would've taken it to the manufacturer. If Target wants to sell cheap junk, their buyers should handle the returns, maybe they'll refrain from buying junk.

Wow. I am shocked at the other reviews for this. We watched about 6 DVDs a week at times, and then there were times when we used it about once a week, but we never had any of the problems listed.

It played our CDs (audio), and Kodak CDs, and let us shuffle through the pix at our leisure until we were at the group we wanted.

I recently had a rented dvd mess with my mind (turns out the dvd itself had problems) and I went into terminator mode on the wrong piece of equipment.

So I came back for another one.

It costs almost double here what I paid for it elsewhere, but this seems to be the only place I can find it.

I used this DVD player for about 4 months and it started acting up. It freezes and you have to smack it to get it going again. I bought a smaller one for about [...]less and that thing has been working great for the past 5 years. DO NOT BUY THIS ONE!!!

This thing only worked for 3 months, very very sad. I have the same problem that others have mentioned, it just says no disc, and absolutely will not work. I am just mad now that I don't have the box anymore or I would be taking back to the store right now. BUY SOMETHING ELSE! this is not the DVD player for you!
